The chapter on Bayesian methods in particular leaves much to be desired- no comparison to frequentist methodology, or even how statistics is used to evaluate findings as evidence. How does science justify itself on the basis of this data?

Unfortunately he only does so in order to argue against them, and having defeated his own oversimplified versions of those ideas, claim victory over the original, more complex idea.

For everybody else who wants an understanding of how science is done and the difficulty of pinning that down as well as its place in society this is a great read.
